New Year in Disney World

I remember that December 31st, 1996 when I was eight years old. That day was full of hope and happiness. I was watching the fireworks exploding in the sky; while they made me live an unforgettable moment with my family. We were expecting a new year in Orlando, Florida; exactly in Disney World. The best place to get a New Year's at Disney for many reasons. For example, I could enjoy with my favorite Disney characters. In addition, I had the opportunity to take pleasure of my family this holiday. And finally, this place provides me a lot of energy and many activities.
At 10 o’clock in the morning when I went to Disney World for my first time, I felt like in the paradise. There were all the Disney characters, people dressing with different costumes, and in that moment I thought: “look there are the cartoons of the T.V!” During my visit, I went to see the princess, and I could talk to them; also I asked for autographs. I was really happy to see my favorite characters such as Winnie the Pooh. This was an amazing moment because all my dreams became truth that day.
After having seen each of the characters, I went to see Mickey’s Mouse parade that began at three o’clock. The idea of being there with my parents, brother and grandparents together was the best thing I could have. That was the last year I was with my grandfather, so I well remember this day. In the moment that my parents were eating, my brother and I went to some games that we found and we enjoyed playing together. I think we played on a machine where you can win some toys of the Disney characters.
At night we were very tired, but night was just beginning. There were a lot of activities; for instance, there were games, visits to characters, functions, shows, and a million other things that we could do up to 12 o’clock that began the fireworks. Everyone was looking forward to the New Year. They were high energy, and they were full of happiness. There were many faces that I would not see again but on which at the time I like to share. The fireworks started when the New Year begins, and these lasted about 45 minutes later. We had many things to do, and we really took advantage of all.
Finally, all my family began to embrace and desired the best. When these beautiful lights in the sky began to exploded; I just thought how blessed I was, the beautiful time I was living with my loved ones, and how much fun I spend with them and the Disney characters that I wanted to know. To conclude, we ended up with a happy and great atmosphere at Disney World, shouted Happy New Year!
